The transcoding module converts video into various formats and various quality levels. That helps you optimize your video library, so your audience is able to enjoy your content no matter where they are or what devices they use.

Our system encodes video content in several formats, including adaptive streams with multiple bitrates that automatically adjust the quality based on bandwidth (HLS, MSS, MPEG-DASH). We support the widest range of input/ output formats, including HEVC and VP9. You may trim video, extract and insert subtitles, process multi-channel audio in HLS and MPEG-DASH, and apply DRM encryption.

Once uploaded, your video is automatically encoded according to a predefined set of rules. No other steps are required. The module provides you with error tracking (monitoring logs) and transcoding statistics.

You can easily set up transcoding presets to define the stream quality settings; add more audio tracks and subtitles to existing video playlists; and control the video queue encoding priority. The transcoding system is easily scalable on- site or by adding the cloud resources.
